We are starting to roll out ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology across our UK Resort Theme Parks which will provide a seamless and efficient exit from our car parks at the end of your fun-filled day! Once you have provided us with your vehicle registration number you will be able to leave the car park at selected Resorts without scanning your pass as our new technology will automatically recognise your vehicle.

Which passholders does this affect?
Anyone purchasing or renewing a Premium Merlin Annual Pass can opt to provide us with their vehicle registration number for a seamless exit at selected UK Resorts.
I already have a Premium or VIP Merlin Annual Pass, can I give you my vehicle registration number?
Unfortunately this functionality is only available to new purchases or renewals. If and when you renew your pass, you can opt to provide us with this information. You can continue to scan you pass at the car park barriers to exit.
Which Resorts have this technology enabled?
The first Resort to have this technology installed is Thorpe Park Resort. We are looking to roll this out to more UK Resorts in due course.
What if I have a Standard Merlin Annual Pass?
If you have a Standard Merlin Annual Pass, you can opt to provide us with your vehicle registration number at selected Resorts when you purchase your car parking ticket either online, at the admissions desk or on the Resort’s mobile app. This will enable you to leave the car park in the same speedy fashion.
What happens if I change vehicle or come in a different vehicle?
If you are using a different vehicle to the one assigned to your pass, you will need to scan your pass at the car park exit barrier. You are not able to change the registration number assigned to your pass after purchase.
