We have two separate products; the Merlin Annual Pass and Merlin Membership.
The Merlin Annual Pass is our upfront payment model (one-off payment when you purchase) and Merlin Membership is our monthly payment model (fixed fee per month plus an initial joining fee) requiring a regular card payment (rather than direct debit).
You get the same great perks and benefits with both products*, but there are various differences.

Delivery of Passes and first-time usage
Merlin Membership
After purchase, you may visit straight away – as your Pass is valid for 52 weeks from the moment you purchase it. Simply bring along your order confirmation email, photo identification (drivers license or passport) and the payment card that is assigned to our Merlin Membership. You will still receive your Pass cards within 3-5 working days delivery*.
Merlin Annual Pass
After purchase, you will need to wait for your Pass cards to arrive before you can visit. Don’t worry, you’ll still get your full 12 months of fun! To account for the 3 – 5 working days delivery*, we add on an additional 7 days to the validity so that your Passes are valid for 53 weeks. That means you can enjoy your full 12 months of fun once your Pass/es arrive.

Expiry Dates and Renewal Options
Merlin Membership
Merlin Membership requires a minimum 12-month commitment and is then a continuous rolling contract, your Pass, therefore, does not expire. Therefore you do not need to ever "renew" your Merlin Membership pass - if you wish to continue having a Merlin Membership after your initial 12-month commitment, you just need to keep making your regular card payment. If you do not want to continue your Merlin Membership after the initial 12-month commitment, you will be required to request, in writing, a cancellation. If, after you cancel, you wish to purchase a Merlin Annual Pass, you are welcome to purchase at the renewal rate - this would need to be done within 8 weeks of the cancellation of your Merlin Membership/s.
Merlin Annual Pass
Merlin Annual Passes are valid for 12 months and will have the expiry date printed on the Pass. Once you have reached this expiry date, you can take advantage of our Merlin Annual Pass Renewal rate here. Merlin Annual Pass Renewals must be purchased within 8 weeks of the expiry date printed on your Pass. Alternatively, you are welcome to purchase a Merlin Membership after your Merlin Annual Pass expires, however, there is not discounted renewal rate as Memberships are a fixed rate. You, therefore, will be required to pay the joining fee and 1st-month payment per Pass as normal.
*Premium Pass holder Privilege Packs
Merlin Membership
Premium Merlin Membership Pass holders will only receive a Privilege Pack for the first year of your pass when they first set up their Membership. You will not however need to pay the joining fee again after your initial 12 months.
Merlin Annual Pass
Premium Merlin Annual Pass holders will receive a new privilege pack if they choose to renew their pass (Renewals must be purchased within 8 weeks of expiry date)
